Photo Sharing Explicit Consent Form

This text is a request for permission; it is not mandatory. Saying "No" or not answering at all does not in any way affect your child's participation in class activities, the class journal, messaging with the teacher or the portfolio. This consent is requested separately from the Parent Information Notice and separately for each child; you can withdraw it at any time with a single tap.

1. What are you consenting to?

I give my explicit consent to the processing, within the limits listed below, of photos in which the face or identity can be recognized of my child whose parent I am and whose name is written on this screen:

the teacher showing and tagging my child in photos shared in the class journal; these photos being shown only to the teacher of my child's class and to the parents connected to that class;
the teacher adding a photo taken of my child together with their work ("work with a photo") to my child's portfolio; this photo being shown only to me and the teacher, and being included in the "My year" album at the end of the year;
these photos being stored on Motivasyon TV's server in Germany (Frankfurt) for the period written below.

2. What are you NOT consenting to?

Publishing the photos on the school's website, social media accounts, in the press, in promotion or advertising, at a public link, or anywhere outside the class. Motivasyon TV has no public sharing feature.
Facial recognition, biometric analysis, profiling or artificial intelligence training on the photos. These are not done under any circumstances.
Your child being made the subject of another parent's messaging: parents cannot write to each other.

3. Purpose

To let parents see short moments from their children's days at school and their progress; and to let the teacher do this in a closed and controlled space instead of sending photos to messaging groups.

4. Period

Class journal photos are deleted automatically and permanently 30 days after the end of the school year in which the post was made (30 June), and portfolio photos 60 days after it. The teacher can delete them earlier. Details: Data Retention and Destruction Policy.

5. Withdrawal and its effect

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, from the "Photo permission" card on the parent screen. When you withdraw it:

Class journal posts in which your child is tagged are hidden from other parents immediately; only you and the teacher can still see them. Viewing links issued earlier also become invalid immediately.
The teacher is notified to remove the photos from the post or to delete the post. Once the photos are removed, the text becomes visible to other parents again; the photos do not.
Your child cannot be tagged in a new photo, and no new work with a photo can be added to their portfolio.
If you wish, with the "also delete the photos in the portfolio" option during withdrawal, you can have existing work with photos deleted immediately.
If you give your consent again later, the hidden posts become visible again automatically.

Withdrawal takes effect for the future: processing carried out on the basis of your consent before withdrawal remains lawful. We cannot technically recall an image that another parent saved on their own device before the withdrawal; in that case you can ask your school and the parent concerned to delete it.

6. An honest warning

Parents who can see the photos can save them on their own devices or take screenshots; no app can prevent this completely. We recommend that you keep this possibility in mind when giving consent. If you do not give consent, the teacher has committed not to share photos in which your child's face can be recognized and, where necessary, to blur the face.

7. On whose behalf, and to whom, are you giving it?

You give the consent on behalf of the child whose parent you are, to your child's school, which is the data controller of class data (through the teacher); Motivasyon TV stores and shows the photos only as a data processor. If more than one parent of the child is connected, the most recent answer applies; when one of the parents withdraws consent, the withdrawal is applied immediately.

8. Record

Your answer (yes / no / withdrawal), its time, the version of this text and the channel you used (parent link or family account) are recorded. The teacher sees only the current status (permission given / not given / awaiting answer). If this text changes, your consent is requested again; until you answer the new version, consent is considered not given.

9. Declaration

"I have read the Photo Sharing Explicit Consent Form and the Parent Information Notice. Of my own free will, I give my explicit consent to photos in which my child, whose parent I am, can be recognized being shared for the purpose stated above in such a way that they are seen only by the teacher of their class and the parents connected to their class, and being stored on the server abroad for the stated period. I know that I can withdraw this consent at any time."
